We tune turbo and supercharged NC Miatas remotely on the factory ECU with MazdaEdit: $650 outside the EU, €650 + VAT in the EU, first map the same day.
Our normal limit is 380 hp, and we need your full hardware list before the first map.

What we need before the first map
- Engine: 1.8, 2.0 or 2.5 L5-VE swap
- ECU part number
- Turbo or supercharger, manifold and wastegate
- MAP sensor and boost controller
- Injectors
- Wideband: required on a turbo car
- Target boost
- Intake, exhaust, fuel and limiter
- Internals and clutch
For custom hardware we ask for a short spec rundown first, so the map matches what's actually on the car.
The hardware we use
- MAP sensor: Bosch
- Boost controller: LD Performance
- Fuel: stock injectors stop at about 200-210 hp on a 2.0 and about 220-240 hp on a 2.5, so a turbo needs uprated fuelling for its power target. Tell us what you have.
Why 380 hp
380 hp is our normal limit on a kit and on the factory-ECU route.
The 2.5 takes that power on stock internals. Our 320-380 hp package on a 1.8 or 2.0 uses forged rods.
The 425 hp in our data is a record on one 2.5 build, not something we offer as standard.

Crank figures. Hardware and boost differ widely, so turbo medians aren't comparable with each other. The 1.8 row is two cars.
Same-car boost steps: forged 2.0, GT2860RS, 0.4 to 1.0 bar: 280 hp / 302 Nm to 339 hp / 442 Nm. 2.5, 0.7 to 0.85 bar: 326 hp / 401 Nm to 344 hp / 462 Nm.
These cars were tuned on our own dyno, not remotely. These steps compare lower and higher boost on one car, not stock against turbo. All NC numbers.
How it goes
- Send the hardware list and ECU part number. We confirm before you pay.
- Flasher in hand, 5-minute setup, first map written. Windows laptop only.
- Drive, log what we ask for, and send the file.
- We revise. 2-3 revisions usually finish the job, unlimited for the same setup.

FAQ
Is the tune included with a DMS turbo kit?
Yes. The €4900 ex VAT kit includes a remote MazdaEdit custom tune. This page's price is for cars with other hardware.
Can you tune a kit from another maker?
Yes. Send the full hardware list first.
Do you tune supercharged NCs?
Yes, at the same price.
Do I need a standalone ECU?
No. We tune turbo NCs on the factory ECU with MazdaEdit. If you want full standalone control, we also install and tune the MS3 at our workshop.
Can you run the tune on a dyno?
Yes, if you can reach Artemida. Otherwise, we work from your logs.
