What 84 hp changes on the road
A turbocharged petrol responds to a remap mostly through boost and ignition timing. Taking the 1.8T from 280 hp to 364 hp, with torque from 390 Nm to 526 Nm, sharpens throttle response and shortens the gap between asking for power and getting it — the car stops feeling like it is thinking about it first.
