What 25 hp changes on the road

A turbocharged petrol responds to a remap mostly through boost and ignition timing. Taking the 1.5 dCi from 110 hp to 135 hp, with torque from 240 Nm to 306 Nm, sharpens throttle response and shortens the gap between asking for power and getting it — the car stops feeling like it is thinking about it first.
