Factory output for the Renault Latitude 2.0 dCi is 175 hp and 380 Nm. A Stage 1 remap targets 216 hp and 447 Nm — 41 hp (+23%) and 67 Nm (+18%).

What 41 hp changes on the road

A turbocharged petrol responds to a remap mostly through boost and ignition timing. Taking the 2.0 dCi from 175 hp to 216 hp, with torque from 380 Nm to 447 Nm, sharpens throttle response and shortens the gap between asking for power and getting it — the car stops feeling like it is thinking about it first.

Gains of this size (+23%) are normal for this kind of engine on pump fuel, with no hardware changes.

What Stage 1 involves on a Renault Latitude

We read the ECU, log the car as it stands, and put it on the dyno to confirm the 175 hp baseline — a tired or faulty engine gets diagnosed before it gets mapped, not after.

The calibration is written for your car, not pulled from a file library. We adjust fuelling, ignition timing and boost pressure, then re-run the dyno to verify the 216 hp and 447 Nm figure and check knock, lambda and temperatures under load.
