What 29 hp changes on the road

A turbocharged petrol responds to a remap mostly through boost and ignition timing. Taking the 1.3 TCe from 140 hp to 169 hp, with torque from 260 Nm to 306 Nm, sharpens throttle response and shortens the gap between asking for power and getting it — the car stops feeling like it is thinking about it first.

We read the ECU, log the car as it stands, and put it on the dyno to confirm the 140 hp baseline — a tired or faulty engine gets diagnosed before it gets mapped, not after.
