How it works
Turbocharged engines respond hugely to a remap because the factory leaves boost, fuel and timing conservative for emissions, warranty and lower-grade fuel worldwide. A Stage 1 remap (software only) typically adds 25–35% on turbo petrol and even more on modern diesels. Naturally-aspirated engines have far less to unlock from software alone — usually 5–10%.
Stage 2 adds supporting hardware (intake, downpipe/de-cat, exhaust) and a matched tune, pushing turbo cars to +40–55%. These ranges are exactly that — ranges. Your real gain depends on the specific engine, fuel quality, condition and mods.

FAQ
How much does Stage 1 add to a turbo car?
Typically 25–35% more power and often more torque — the gain you feel most. A 150hp turbo petrol commonly lands around 185–200hp on Stage 1. Diesels often gain even more percentage-wise.
Why do NA engines gain so little?
A naturally-aspirated engine is already breathing at atmospheric pressure — software can only optimise timing and fuelling, not add air. Real NA gains come from cams, headers, higher compression or forced induction.
Are these gains safe?
When done properly — dyno-developed, within safe limits, stock file saved — yes. The risk is a bad generic file, not tuning itself. We tune conservatively and prove it on the dyno.
