Factory output for the Skoda Kodiaq 2.0 TDI is 200 hp and 400 Nm. A Stage 1 remap targets 246 hp and 467 Nm — 46 hp (+23%) and 67 Nm (+17%).

Those are the figures we work to on this engine. They are a starting point, not a promise: the number we hand back is the one your car makes on our dyno, measured before and after on the same day, in the same conditions.

Where the 67 Nm shows up

On a diesel the useful change is torque, not peak power. Going from 400 Nm to 467 Nm fills in the mid-range, which is where a Skoda Kodiaq actually spends its time — pulling from 1,800 to 3,000 rpm in a high gear, overtaking without dropping two gears, towing or carrying weight without the engine falling on its face.

Peak power moves too, 200 hp to 246 hp, but you will feel the 67 Nm far more often than the 46 hp.

We read the ECU, log the car as it stands, and put it on the dyno to confirm the 200 hp baseline — a tired or faulty engine gets diagnosed before it gets mapped, not after.

The calibration is written for your car, not pulled from a file library. We adjust fuelling, ignition timing, injection timing and boost, then re-run the dyno to verify the 246 hp and 467 Nm figure and check knock, lambda and temperatures under load.
