Factory output for the Skoda Octavia 2.0 TDI EVO is 200 hp and 400 Nm. A Stage 1 remap targets 246 hp and 464 Nm — 46 hp (+23%) and 64 Nm (+16%).

Those are the figures we work to on this engine. They are a starting point, not a promise: the number we hand back is the one your car makes on our dyno, measured before and after on the same day, in the same conditions.

Where the 64 Nm shows up

On a diesel the useful change is torque, not peak power. Going from 400 Nm to 464 Nm fills in the mid-range, which is where a Skoda Octavia actually spends its time — pulling from 1,800 to 3,000 rpm in a high gear, overtaking without dropping two gears, towing or carrying weight without the engine falling on its face.

Peak power moves too, 200 hp to 246 hp, but you will feel the 64 Nm far more often than the 46 hp.
