What 30 hp changes on the road

A turbocharged petrol responds to a remap mostly through boost and ignition timing. Taking the 1.3T from 190 hp to 220 hp, with torque from 270 Nm to 310 Nm, sharpens throttle response and shortens the gap between asking for power and getting it — the car stops feeling like it is thinking about it first.
