Factory output for the Ford Tourneo Connect 1.5 Ecoblue is 100 hp and 250 Nm. A Stage 1 remap targets 140 hp and 340 Nm — 40 hp (+40%) and 90 Nm (+36%).

Those are the figures we work to on this engine. They are a starting point, not a promise: the number we hand back is the one your car makes on our dyno, measured before and after on the same day, in the same conditions.

Where the 90 Nm shows up

On a diesel the useful change is torque, not peak power. Going from 250 Nm to 340 Nm fills in the mid-range, which is where a Ford Tourneo Connect actually spends its time — pulling from 1,800 to 3,000 rpm in a high gear, overtaking without dropping two gears, towing or carrying weight without the engine falling on its face.

Peak power moves too, 100 hp to 140 hp, but you will feel the 90 Nm far more often than the 40 hp.

The calibration is written for your car, not pulled from a file library. We adjust fuelling, ignition timing, injection timing and boost, then re-run the dyno to verify the 140 hp and 340 Nm figure and check knock, lambda and temperatures under load.

Turnaround is same-day for most cars. Stock file is archived, so the car can go back to standard whenever you want.
