Factory output for the Ford Everest 2.0T EcoBoost is 245 hp and 373 Nm. A Stage 1 remap targets 270 hp and 400 Nm — 25 hp (+10%) and 27 Nm (+7%).

Those are the figures we work to on this engine. They are a starting point, not a promise: the number we hand back is the one your car makes on our dyno, measured before and after on the same day, in the same conditions.

What 25 hp changes on the road

A turbocharged petrol responds to a remap mostly through boost and ignition timing. Taking the 2.0T EcoBoost from 245 hp to 270 hp, with torque from 373 Nm to 400 Nm, sharpens throttle response and shortens the gap between asking for power and getting it — the car stops feeling like it is thinking about it first.

The calibration is written for your car, not pulled from a file library. We adjust fuelling, ignition timing and boost pressure, then re-run the dyno to verify the 270 hp and 400 Nm figure and check knock, lambda and temperatures under load.
