Fiat Scudo Stage 1: 177 hp → 205 hp

Factory output for the Fiat Scudo 2.0 MultiJet is 177 hp and 400 Nm. A Stage 1 remap targets 205 hp and 440 Nm — 28 hp (+16%) and 40 Nm (+10%).

Those are the figures we work to on this engine. They are a starting point, not a promise: the number we hand back is the one your car makes on our dyno, measured before and after on the same day, in the same conditions.

Where the 40 Nm shows up

On a diesel the useful change is torque, not peak power. Going from 400 Nm to 440 Nm fills in the mid-range, which is where a Fiat Scudo actually spends its time — pulling from 1,800 to 3,000 rpm in a high gear, overtaking without dropping two gears, towing or carrying weight without the engine falling on its face.

Peak power moves too, 177 hp to 205 hp, but you will feel the 40 Nm far more often than the 28 hp.

What Stage 1 involves on a Fiat Scudo

We read the ECU, log the car as it stands, and put it on the dyno to confirm the 177 hp baseline — a tired or faulty engine gets diagnosed before it gets mapped, not after.

The calibration is written for your car, not pulled from a file library. We adjust fuelling, ignition timing, injection timing and boost, then re-run the dyno to verify the 205 hp and 440 Nm figure and check knock, lambda and temperatures under load.

Turnaround is same-day for most cars. Stock file is archived, so the car can go back to standard whenever you want.
