Factory output for the Fiat Bravo 1.6 JTDm is 105 hp and 290 Nm. A Stage 1 remap targets 134 hp and 364 Nm — 29 hp (+28%) and 74 Nm (+26%).

What 29 hp changes on the road

A turbocharged petrol responds to a remap mostly through boost and ignition timing. Taking the 1.6 JTDm from 105 hp to 134 hp, with torque from 290 Nm to 364 Nm, sharpens throttle response and shortens the gap between asking for power and getting it — the car stops feeling like it is thinking about it first.

Gains of this size (+28%) are normal for this kind of engine on pump fuel, with no hardware changes.

What Stage 1 involves on a Fiat Bravo

We read the ECU, log the car as it stands, and put it on the dyno to confirm the 105 hp baseline — a tired or faulty engine gets diagnosed before it gets mapped, not after.

The calibration is written for your car, not pulled from a file library. We adjust fuelling, ignition timing and boost pressure, then re-run the dyno to verify the 134 hp and 364 Nm figure and check knock, lambda and temperatures under load.
