What 35 hp changes on the road

A turbocharged petrol responds to a remap mostly through boost and ignition timing. Taking the 1.6 MultiJet from 105 hp to 140 hp, with torque from 320 Nm to 386 Nm, sharpens throttle response and shortens the gap between asking for power and getting it — the car stops feeling like it is thinking about it first.
