Factory output for the BMW X3 2.8i Turbo is 245 hp and 350 Nm. A Stage 1 remap targets 280 hp and 430 Nm — 35 hp (+14%) and 80 Nm (+23%).

What 35 hp changes on the road

A turbocharged petrol responds to a remap mostly through boost and ignition timing. Taking the 2.8i Turbo from 245 hp to 280 hp, with torque from 350 Nm to 430 Nm, sharpens throttle response and shortens the gap between asking for power and getting it — the car stops feeling like it is thinking about it first.

The calibration is written for your car, not pulled from a file library. We adjust fuelling, ignition timing and boost pressure, then re-run the dyno to verify the 280 hp and 430 Nm figure and check knock, lambda and temperatures under load.

Turnaround is same-day for most cars. Stock file is archived, so the car can go back to standard whenever you want.
