Factory output for the Audi S5 2.9 V6 Bi-turbo is 355 hp and 500 Nm. A Stage 1 remap targets 400 hp and 550 Nm — 45 hp (+13%) and 50 Nm (+10%).

What 45 hp changes on the road
A turbocharged petrol responds to a remap mostly through boost and ignition timing. Taking the 2.9 V6 Bi-turbo from 355 hp to 400 hp, with torque from 500 Nm to 550 Nm, sharpens throttle response and shortens the gap between asking for power and getting it — the car stops feeling like it is thinking about it first.
Gains of this size (+13%) are normal for this kind of engine on pump fuel, with no hardware changes.
What Stage 1 involves on an Audi S5
We read the ECU, log the car as it stands, and put it on the dyno to confirm the 355 hp baseline — a tired or faulty engine gets diagnosed before it gets mapped, not after.
The calibration is written for your car, not pulled from a file library. We adjust fuelling, ignition timing and boost pressure, then re-run the dyno to verify the 400 hp and 550 Nm figure and check knock, lambda and temperatures under load.
Turnaround is same-day for most cars. Stock file is archived, so the car can go back to standard whenever you want.
