Factory output for the Audi RSQ8 4.0 V8 Bi-turbo is 600 hp and 800 Nm. A Stage 1 remap targets 700 hp and 970 Nm — 100 hp (+17%) and 170 Nm (+21%).

What 100 hp changes on the road
A turbocharged petrol responds to a remap mostly through boost and ignition timing. Taking the 4.0 V8 Bi-turbo from 600 hp to 700 hp, with torque from 800 Nm to 970 Nm, sharpens throttle response and shortens the gap between asking for power and getting it — the car stops feeling like it is thinking about it first.
Gains of this size (+17%) are normal for this kind of engine on pump fuel, with no hardware changes.
What Stage 1 involves on an Audi RSQ8
We read the ECU, log the car as it stands, and put it on the dyno to confirm the 600 hp baseline — a tired or faulty engine gets diagnosed before it gets mapped, not after.
The calibration is written for your car, not pulled from a file library. We adjust fuelling, ignition timing and boost pressure, then re-run the dyno to verify the 700 hp and 970 Nm figure and check knock, lambda and temperatures under load.
Turnaround is same-day for most cars. Stock file is archived, so the car can go back to standard whenever you want.
