What 53 hp changes on the road
A turbocharged petrol responds to a remap mostly through boost and ignition timing. The calibration is written for your car, not pulled from a file library. We adjust fuelling, ignition timing and boost pressure, then re-run the dyno to verify the 420 hp and 620 Nm figure and check knock, lambda and temperatures under load.
