What 45 hp changes on the road
A turbocharged petrol responds to a remap mostly through boost and ignition timing. Taking the 1.4 TFSI from 125 hp to 170 hp, with torque from 200 Nm to 310 Nm, sharpens throttle response and shortens the gap between asking for power and getting it — the car stops feeling like it is thinking about it first.

What Stage 1 involves on an Audi Q3
We read the ECU, log the car as it stands, and put it on the dyno to confirm the 125 hp baseline — a tired or faulty engine gets diagnosed before it gets mapped, not after.
The calibration is written for your car, not pulled from a file library. We adjust fuelling, ignition timing and boost pressure, then re-run the dyno to verify the 170 hp and 310 Nm figure and check knock, lambda and temperatures under load.
