Factory output for the Audi Q2 2.0 TDI is 150 hp and 320 Nm. A Stage 1 remap targets 195 hp and 430 Nm — 45 hp (+30%) and 110 Nm (+34%).

Those are the figures we work to on this engine. They are a starting point, not a promise: the number we hand back is the one your car makes on our dyno, measured before and after on the same day, in the same conditions.

Where the 110 Nm shows up

On a diesel the useful change is torque, not peak power. Going from 320 Nm to 430 Nm fills in the mid-range, which is where an Audi Q2 actually spends its time — pulling from 1,800 to 3,000 rpm in a high gear, overtaking without dropping two gears, towing or carrying weight without the engine falling on its face.

Peak power moves too, 150 hp to 195 hp, but you will feel the 110 Nm far more often than the 45 hp.

We read the ECU, log the car as it stands, and put it on the dyno to confirm the 150 hp baseline — a tired or faulty engine gets diagnosed before it gets mapped, not after.

The calibration is written for your car, not pulled from a file library. We adjust fuelling, ignition timing, injection timing and boost, then re-run the dyno to verify the 195 hp and 430 Nm figure and check knock, lambda and temperatures under load.

Turnaround is same-day for most cars. Stock file is archived, so the car can go back to standard whenever you want.
