Where the 65 Nm shows up

On a diesel the useful change is torque, not peak power. Going from 420 Nm to 485 Nm fills in the mid-range, which is where a Volvo Xc 60 actually spends its time — pulling from 1,800 to 3,000 rpm in a high gear, overtaking without dropping two gears, towing or carrying weight without the engine falling on its face.

Peak power moves too, 175 hp to 243 hp, but you will feel the 65 Nm far more often than the 68 hp.
