This is not a figure copied from a database. A 1.6 TDI 2016 of this exact power variant has been on our rollers, and we hold the DynoRevolt sheet for what it measured. Ask to see it. For before-and-after runs on the same machine, all 86 of ours are published in full on our dyno page — nobody else shows you theirs.
Seat Leon Stage 1: 110 hp → 144 hp
Factory output for the Seat Leon 1.6 TDI 2016 is 110 hp and 250 Nm. A Stage 1 remap targets 144 hp and 314 Nm — 34 hp (+31%) and 64 Nm (+26%).
Those are the figures we work to on this engine. They are a starting point, not a promise: the number we hand back is the one your car makes on our dyno, measured before and after on the same day, in the same conditions.
Where the 64 Nm shows up
On a diesel the useful change is torque, not peak power. Going from 250 Nm to 314 Nm fills in the mid-range, which is where a Seat Leon actually spends its time — pulling from 1,800 to 3,000 rpm in a high gear, overtaking without dropping two gears, towing or carrying weight without the engine falling on its face.
Peak power moves too, 110 hp to 144 hp, but you will feel the 64 Nm far more often than the 34 hp.
What Stage 1 involves on a Seat Leon
We read the ECU, log the car as it stands, and put it on the dyno to confirm the 110 hp baseline — a tired or faulty engine gets diagnosed before it gets mapped, not after.
The calibration is written for your car, not pulled from a file library. We adjust fuelling, ignition timing, injection timing and boost, then re-run the dyno to verify the 144 hp and 314 Nm figure and check knock, lambda and temperatures under load.
Turnaround is same-day for most cars. Stock file is archived, so the car can go back to standard whenever you want.
