What 27 hp changes on the road

A turbocharged petrol responds to a remap mostly through boost and ignition timing. Taking the 1.0 TSI EVO from 110 hp to 137 hp, with torque from 200 Nm to 242 Nm, sharpens throttle response and shortens the gap between asking for power and getting it — the car stops feeling like it is thinking about it first.
