Factory output for the Opel Movano 2.3 CDTI is 110 hp and 285 Nm. A Stage 1 remap targets 155 hp and 350 Nm — 45 hp (+41%) and 65 Nm (+23%).

Those are the figures we work to on this engine. They are a starting point, not a promise: the number we hand back is the one your car makes on our dyno, measured before and after on the same day, in the same conditions.

Where the 65 Nm shows up

On a diesel the useful change is torque, not peak power. Going from 285 Nm to 350 Nm fills in the mid-range, which is where an Opel Movano actually spends its time — pulling from 1,800 to 3,000 rpm in a high gear, overtaking without dropping two gears, towing or carrying weight without the engine falling on its face.

Peak power moves too, 110 hp to 155 hp, but you will feel the 65 Nm far more often than the 45 hp.
