Factory output for the Nissan Pathfinder 2.5 dCi is 174 hp and 403 Nm. A Stage 1 remap targets 210 hp and 460 Nm — 36 hp (+21%) and 57 Nm (+14%).

Those are the figures we work to on this engine. They are a starting point, not a promise: the number we hand back is the one your car makes on our dyno, measured before and after on the same day, in the same conditions.

Where the 57 Nm shows up

On a diesel the useful change is torque, not peak power. Going from 403 Nm to 460 Nm fills in the mid-range, which is where a Nissan Pathfinder actually spends its time — pulling from 1,800 to 3,000 rpm in a high gear, overtaking without dropping two gears, towing or carrying weight without the engine falling on its face.

Peak power moves too, 174 hp to 210 hp, but you will feel the 57 Nm far more often than the 36 hp.
