Factory output for the Nissan GT-R 3.8 V6 Turbo is 570 hp and 637 Nm. A Stage 1 remap targets 600 hp and 770 Nm — 30 hp (+5%) and 133 Nm (+21%).

What 30 hp changes on the road

A turbocharged petrol responds to a remap mostly through boost and ignition timing. Taking the 3.8 V6 Turbo from 570 hp to 600 hp, with torque from 637 Nm to 770 Nm, sharpens throttle response and shortens the gap between asking for power and getting it — the car stops feeling like it is thinking about it first.

Gains of this size (+5%) are normal for this kind of engine on pump fuel, with no hardware changes.
