What 49 hp changes on the road
A turbocharged petrol responds to a remap mostly through boost and ignition timing. Taking the 2.0T S JCW from 231 hp to 280 hp, with torque from 350 Nm to 440 Nm, sharpens throttle response and shortens the gap between asking for power and getting it — the car stops feeling like it is thinking about it first.
