What 24 hp changes on the road

A turbocharged petrol responds to a remap mostly through boost and ignition timing. Taking the 300 (2.0t) from 241 hp to 265 hp, with torque from 350 Nm to 410 Nm, sharpens throttle response and shortens the gap between asking for power and getting it — the car stops feeling like it is thinking about it first.
