Factory output for the Hyundai ix45 2.0 CRDi is 150 hp and 380 Nm. A Stage 1 remap targets 180 hp and 435 Nm — 30 hp (+20%) and 55 Nm (+14%).

Those are the figures we work to on this engine. They are a starting point, not a promise: the number we hand back is the one your car makes on our dyno, measured before and after on the same day, in the same conditions.

Where the 55 Nm shows up

On a diesel the useful change is torque, not peak power. Going from 380 Nm to 435 Nm fills in the mid-range, which is where a Hyundai ix45 actually spends its time — pulling from 1,800 to 3,000 rpm in a high gear, overtaking without dropping two gears, towing or carrying weight without the engine falling on its face.

Peak power moves too, 150 hp to 180 hp, but you will feel the 55 Nm far more often than the 30 hp.
