What 25 hp changes on the road

A turbocharged petrol responds to a remap mostly through boost and ignition timing. Taking the 1.5 EcoBoost from 165 hp to 190 hp, with torque from 242 Nm to 340 Nm, sharpens throttle response and shortens the gap between asking for power and getting it — the car stops feeling like it is thinking about it first.
