Factory output for the Fiat Ducato 2.3 130 MultiJet (eur6) is 130 hp and 320 Nm. A Stage 1 remap targets 160 hp and 400 Nm — 30 hp (+23%) and 80 Nm (+25%).

Those are the figures we work to on this engine. They are a starting point, not a promise: the number we hand back is the one your car makes on our dyno, measured before and after on the same day, in the same conditions.

Where the 80 Nm shows up

On a diesel the useful change is torque, not peak power. Going from 320 Nm to 400 Nm fills in the mid-range, which is where a Fiat Ducato actually spends its time — pulling from 1,800 to 3,000 rpm in a high gear, overtaking without dropping two gears, towing or carrying weight without the engine falling on its face.

Peak power moves too, 130 hp to 160 hp, but you will feel the 80 Nm far more often than the 30 hp.
