Fiat Doblo Stage 1: 120 hp → 140 hp

Factory output for the Fiat Doblo 1.6 MultiJet is 120 hp and 320 Nm. A Stage 1 remap targets 140 hp and 360 Nm — 20 hp (+17%) and 40 Nm (+13%).

Those are the figures we work to on this engine. They are a starting point, not a promise: the number we hand back is the one your car makes on our dyno, measured before and after on the same day, in the same conditions.

Where the 40 Nm shows up

On a diesel the useful change is torque, not peak power. Going from 320 Nm to 360 Nm fills in the mid-range, which is where a Fiat Doblo actually spends its time — pulling from 1,800 to 3,000 rpm in a high gear, overtaking without dropping two gears, towing or carrying weight without the engine falling on its face.

Peak power moves too, 120 hp to 140 hp, but you will feel the 40 Nm far more often than the 20 hp.

What Stage 1 involves on a Fiat Doblo

We read the ECU, log the car as it stands, and put it on the dyno to confirm the 120 hp baseline — a tired or faulty engine gets diagnosed before it gets mapped, not after.

The calibration is written for your car, not pulled from a file library. We adjust fuelling, ignition timing, injection timing and boost, then re-run the dyno to verify the 140 hp and 360 Nm figure and check knock, lambda and temperatures under load.

Turnaround is same-day for most cars. Stock file is archived, so the car can go back to standard whenever you want.
