What 25 hp changes on the road
A turbocharged petrol responds to a remap mostly through boost and ignition timing. Taking the 1.4T Multiair from 160 hp to 185 hp, with torque from 250 Nm to 290 Nm, sharpens throttle response and shortens the gap between asking for power and getting it — the car stops feeling like it is thinking about it first.
