Factory output for the Citroën C6 2.2 HDi is 173 hp and 370 Nm. A Stage 1 remap targets 203 hp and 440 Nm — 30 hp (+17%) and 70 Nm (+19%).

Those are the figures we work to on this engine. They are a starting point, not a promise: the number we hand back is the one your car makes on our dyno, measured before and after on the same day, in the same conditions.

Where the 70 Nm shows up

On a diesel the useful change is torque, not peak power. Going from 370 Nm to 440 Nm fills in the mid-range, which is where a Citroën C6 actually spends its time — pulling from 1,800 to 3,000 rpm in a high gear, overtaking without dropping two gears, towing or carrying weight without the engine falling on its face.

Peak power moves too, 173 hp to 203 hp, but you will feel the 70 Nm far more often than the 30 hp.
