Where the 84 Nm shows up
On a diesel the useful change is torque, not peak power. Going from 440 Nm to 524 Nm fills in the mid-range, which is where a Citroen C6 actually spends its time — pulling from 1,800 to 3,000 rpm in a high gear, overtaking without dropping two gears, towing or carrying weight without the engine falling on its face.
Peak power moves too, 207 hp to 246 hp, but you will feel the 84 Nm far more often than the 39 hp.

The calibration is written for your car, not pulled from a file library. We adjust fuelling, ignition timing, injection timing and boost, then re-run the dyno to verify the 246 hp and 524 Nm figure and check knock, lambda and temperatures under load.
