Where the 45 Nm shows up

On a diesel the useful change is torque, not peak power. Going from 300 Nm to 345 Nm fills in the mid-range, which is where a Citroen C4 Cactus actually spends its time — pulling from 1,800 to 3,000 rpm in a high gear, overtaking without dropping two gears, towing or carrying weight without the engine falling on its face.

Peak power moves too, 120 hp to 146 hp, but you will feel the 45 Nm far more often than the 26 hp.
