What 25 hp changes on the road

A turbocharged petrol responds to a remap mostly through boost and ignition timing. Taking the 1.6 THP from 165 hp to 190 hp, with torque from 240 Nm to 300 Nm, sharpens throttle response and shortens the gap between asking for power and getting it — the car stops feeling like it is thinking about it first.

Gains of this size (+15%) are normal for this kind of engine on pump fuel, with no hardware changes.

The calibration is written for your car, not pulled from a file library. We adjust fuelling, ignition timing and boost pressure, then re-run the dyno to verify the 190 hp and 300 Nm figure and check knock, lambda and temperatures under load.
