What 14 hp changes on the road

A turbocharged petrol responds to a remap mostly through boost and ignition timing. Taking the 1.0T from 116 hp to 130 hp, with torque from 165 Nm to 220 Nm, sharpens throttle response and shortens the gap between asking for power and getting it — the car stops feeling like it is thinking about it first.
