Audi Q7 Stage 1: 500 hp → 600 hp

Factory output for the Audi Q7 6.0 V12 TDI is 500 hp and 1000 Nm. A Stage 1 remap targets 600 hp and 1200 Nm — 100 hp (+20%) and 200 Nm (+20%).

Those are the figures we work to on this engine. They are a starting point, not a promise: the number we hand back is the one your car makes on our dyno, measured before and after on the same day, in the same conditions.

Where the 200 Nm shows up

On a diesel the useful change is torque, not peak power. Going from 1000 Nm to 1200 Nm fills in the mid-range, which is where an Audi Q7 actually spends its time — pulling from 1,800 to 3,000 rpm in a high gear, overtaking without dropping two gears, towing or carrying weight without the engine falling on its face.

Peak power moves too, 500 hp to 600 hp, but you will feel the 200 Nm far more often than the 100 hp.

What Stage 1 involves on an Audi Q7

We read the ECU, log the car as it stands, and put it on the dyno to confirm the 500 hp baseline — a tired or faulty engine gets diagnosed before it gets mapped, not after.

The calibration is written for your car, not pulled from a file library. We adjust fuelling, ignition timing, injection timing and boost, then re-run the dyno to verify the 600 hp and 1200 Nm figure and check knock, lambda and temperatures under load.

Turnaround is same-day for most cars. Stock file is archived, so the car can go back to standard whenever you want.
