What turbo do you recommend for a street car?

For a daily-driven MX-5 NC, we recommend the 250HP build on the stock 2.0L. It uses a small turbo for instant response and stays within safe limits. No forged internals needed.

Do I need forged internals?

Below 300HP on the 2.0L, stock internals are fine. Above 300HP or with the 2.5L turbo, we strongly recommend forged pistons and rods for longevity.

How long does a turbo build take?

250HP build: 3-5 days. 350HP with 2.5 swap: 2-3 weeks. 430HP+ forged build: 4-6 weeks. Every build includes full dyno calibration.
